This month SPECTRI specialists were invited and took part in an international conference organized by our partners Envirosuite in Lisbon, Portugal.
Numerous specialists in the monitoring and control of aviation noise and the environment took part in the conference. Representatives from many of the largest airports in Europe, the US, and Canada were present. They presented the measures they take and the challenges they encounter as environmental experts in their respective airports.
As a continuation of our long-standing work with Sofia Airport on the monitoring and control of aircraft noise, SPECTRI specialists took part in the panels, discussions and trainings held during the conference.
Of course, there is still time for fado music and a tour of the city in a tuk-tuk!
It is important for us to continue our work in the field of aviation noise, as we know how crucial its control is to the comfort of residents in areas under air transport routes.
We can proudly say that the work we do with Sofia Airport serves as an example for many other airports in Eastern Europe. This, of course, should only be an incentive to develop this activity in the future!
