Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) has introduced Advantage Insights 2026 R4, the latest version of its software platform for processing, analysing and visualising engineering measurement data. The update includes new visualisation capabilities, workflow improvements and enhanced AI-assisted functionality.
One of the main new features is spectrogram visualisation for time-varying frequency spectra, allowing engineers to observe how signal frequency content and amplitudes change over time. The new release also introduces support for Dewesoft DXD files, together with further improvements in measurement data processing and analysis workflows.
Advantage Insights is designed for testing laboratories, research and development centres and industrial organisations working with large volumes of measurement data. Such tools are particularly relevant to noise and vibration investigations, dynamic testing, signal analysis and machine or structural performance evaluation, helping engineers interpret and present complex measurement results more efficiently.
